🔴⚪ A Short Story Behind the Shirt

The 2009/10 season was an exciting and transitional year for AFC Ajax, led by manager Martin Jol. Ajax finished the Eredivisie season in 2nd place, powered by an extraordinary campaign from Luis Suárez, who scored an incredible 35 league goals.

This season also marked the arrival of Hyun‑Jun Suk, the first South Korean player in Ajax history. Signed after a successful trial, Suk quickly became a cult favourite due to his work ethic, personality and the uniqueness of his story. Although he made only a handful of appearances, his presence created a surge of interest from Asian fans and made shirts with his name extremely rare.

Ajax also lifted the KNVB Beker, defeating Feyenoord over two legs in a memorable final.
